Hello Disney Fans and Pros,
We will be celebrating my daughter's quinceanera at Disney December 15-22, 2018. For her special trip, she has requested to stay somewhere on the Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL) resort property. While I think she'd prefer Jumbo house, she's not adverse to Kidani Village. Since there will be 7 of us traveling and we all want to stay in one room, we'll need a 2-bedroom villa. I know they're hard to come by, so I'm looking for any advice on how to guarantee one. I'm looking into renting DVC points through a reputable company I've used before and having them book it, but I can't confirm availability until 11 months out from the check-in date (DVC booking rules). Going online direct to Disney right now only shows availability on the Club Level and I'd rather not fork over all that extra $$ for amenities we won't use. I'd prefer a Standard View room, but really can't be picky with how hard they are to come by. Does anyone have a tried and true method for booking one of these? Thanks in advance for any advice.
