Ok you have given me great ways to get to DTD from the MK and Epcot but how would I get there from MGM? We are staying at the Pop and didn't really want to have to go all the way back to the resort to catch another bus. I had never thought about leaving Epcot and going to the Beach Club and catching a bus from there. I was hoping someone would have a great idea for MGM. My DH and 2-DS's want to spend time at the parks and then go to DQ in the afternoon.

Thanks again!! We leave in 5 weeks.

Oops! I was backwards. From MGM to DTD, one option would be to take a bus to Saratoga Springs (get off at Congress Park stop) and then walk to DTD (about 5 minutes, maybe less, to the entrance of DTD Marketplace)

Take the Boat from MGM to the Swan/Dolphin. Then go to either hotel to get the Bus to DTD. They probably use the same bus for both Hotels so the Swan would be the 1st stop for the bus & the Dolphin would be the 2nd. Do the reverse to get from DTD to MGM but definitely get off the bus at the Swan rather than wait for the Dolphin stop to optimize your chance of getting the next available boat to MGM.

I don't really think there is a "good way." :sad2: For the life of me, I can't figure out why they don't have park-to-park (or park-to-DTD) buses. :confused3

They don't have Park to DTD buses because people were parking at DTD to avoid paying for parking at the parks. This made it impossible to find parking at DTD if you drove there to shop. And there is Park to Park transportation. Unfortunately for the MK it is only to TTC.

That's crazy! You don't have to be staying at a hotel to park at DTD, ride a resort bus, and then hope on a park bus and not pay to park. Who would know? You still wouldn't have to pay that way.

Yeah, but it makes it a little less of a good idea to people who don't know they can go to a resort & then hop a bus to a park. Of course if they demanded to see Park tickets and/or resort ID's each time you boarded a bus it would keep a few people from getting on the bus who shouldn't. The best answer would be for them to start charging to park at DTD for those who don't have a resort parking pass or AP(which includes parking privileges).
