Best way to get to MGM from Epcot?

What is the best option for park to park with Epcot/MGM? I know there is a boat from the world showcase end of Epcot, but we will be in the front (future world) part. Is there a bus that goes directly between the parks (I know some of them have buses to other parks)?

If not, is it still faster to walk to the boat - or, is there a monorail/bus route that is better?

We usually just find out what resort is closest to the park we want to go to and get on their bus back to the hotel and then the bus for the park.. but there really aren't "mgm area" hotels from what I have been reading.

There is not a monorail to the Studios. Your best bet, if you're in Future World, is to grab a bus to MGM.

So there is a bus that takes you from Epcot to MGM directly? I was hoping there was one, but wasn't sure!

or walk (it will be a good walk!)or better yet, take a boat from Epcot. Sometimes they run them directly between Epcot and MGM (esp before Fantasmic). Or take a boat from Epcot to an Epcot resort (Dolphin, BC, etc.) and than grab an MGM boat from there.

Great! thanks for all the help.. sounds like the bus will be best as we will be in future world ..not the world showcase where the boats are... thanks again!

Just to clarify, when you get on the boat at Epcot, it will take you to MGM. You do not have to get off to hop on another boat. It will make three stops before getting to MGM

The bus from EPCOT to MGM is like taking the slow boat to China. It takes 45 minutes. I would take the bus.

I think the easiest way is to go out the international gateway and take the boat from the boardwalk.
