Best way to get to Cape May

I have an ADR for 7:45am at Cape May Cafe for the character breakfast. This will be our Epcot day as well. We are staying at the Grand Floridian. What is the best way to get to the Beach Club? Should I take the monorail to the express epcot and walk (can you even get into epcot to walk through to Int'l Gateway?)? Or do I need to take a bus at some point in this equation?

I know we can just walk to Epcot afterwards, just need more light shined on the getting to breakfast part.

You cannot get there by going to Epcot.

Take the bus to DHS and walk or take the boat (if it's running that early) to the Beach Club.

Since World Showcase does not open until later in the day, you can't there from Epcot through International Gateway, talking the monorail to MK or Epcot, then a bus to Beach Club seems like the best option to me.

There is not a bus from Epcot to the Beach Club.

Thanks for the advice, I think we will take a bus to DHS and walk to Beach Club then walk to Int'l Gateway to enter Epcot at opening. If the weather is bad or we are feeling just too lazy that morning (probably won't) we can change to getting a taxi.

Are you sure about the bus? I know when the international gateway is opened to get into epcot there is no bus but I think buses do run that early so people from beach club can get into the main entrance of epcot when it opens earlier. Might be worth calling the transportation department and asking them. (I think they have a customer service number)

The International Gateway opens at the exact same time as the front entrance. There is no bus.

There isn't a phone number specifically for transportation. Even if there was, I wouldn't trust it - phone CMs often give out incorrect info.
