I am planning to try to have lunch at Beaches and Cream one day. I've never been there. What is the best way to get there from the Swan? I will probably be pushing a stroller. Would it be better to take the boat or walk? Is it easy to find? :confused3

It's a short walk, less than half a mile. Just go around the lagoon to the Beach Club and it's in the arcade facing Stormalong Bay.

Enjoy!

I think walking would be much easier than waiting for and boarding the boat with a stroller. Just keep to your left and walk away from the Boardwalk. You will pass the Yacht Club on your left and the Beach Club is next door.

IMHO, Beaches 'n Cream is overrated and always crowded.

My advice is to give the ice cream & sandwich place in the Dolphin Resort a try. Believe it is called the Dolphin Fountain. It's just to the left of the escalators on the first floor. Good food, good ice cream and malts and very good service. It's also a lot shorter walk from the Swan, LOL! We've not ever found it to be crowded, either.

Best wishes-

I've eaten at both. B & C is fun and the burgers & shakes are delicious. It's a fun atmosphere. Plus, it's fun to visit the Beach Club resort and maybe walk around enjoying the sights. The place at the Dolphin is good too, but not quite the same atmosphere, IMO.

Absolutely agree.....we waited in line for a dish of ice cream, at 3:00 in the afternoon, for about 30 minutes!!! And to find that it's Edy's ice cream!!! Twice we just got tired of the wait and left. Head over to the Dolphin..much better idea.

We were at the Dolphin a few weeks ago and their burger/ice cream place was closed. I don't know for how long. I was disappointed because they had awesome chocolate chip cookies.
