Best way to get to a pre-open tour with an ECV

My Mom and I are seriously thinking about doing the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour on our May trip (Birthday gift for Mom). We are renting an off site ECV due to the cost savings for Mom (a meal for two for example), but the tour starts at 8:15 AM. Would the easiest way to make the tour starting time to take Disney transportation or Taxi/Uber? I want to make sure she can use the ECV between rides, so she has more energy later on in the day.

Only some models of off site rental ECV's can be broken down to fit in a taxi/ Uber. They are generally smaller & break into several pieces. Could you manage that? I think your only other option is to be at your resort bus stop for the earliest possible bus to the MK (6:30 AM?)

The buses start running from the resorts at 6:30. As long as your at the bus stop by 7:00 you should be fine.
