Best way to get from CR to FW?

We are trying to plan dinner at Chef Mickeys and then head over to FW for the campfire.. what is the best/fastest way to do this? I thought last year when we were going to HDDR from MK the water launch went to the CR and then onto FW but my DH is telling me I am wrong. Can someone please help me out?

There is a boat that goes from CR to FW, but not from MK to CR to FW. If you down to the lobby and out the back door, past the pool, you will see the dock that goes out into the water and at the end there is a boat to FW.

The boat is great.... Quick and relaxing ride... Give yourself about 20-30 minutes because you may arrive at the launch just after a boat left... There is no good way of timing the boats.... But it really is so easy... Have fun!

I agree with the others who said to take the boat.

I agree with the boats also. But just one thing, be sure to bring rain gear if the wether is stormy. The boats have a top, but still doesn't keep things very dry. It can also get very cold out on the water at night. Have Fun!

That CR launch stops at WL first, so you could also build in time to visit WL then take the walking path to FW. Might not be a bad "move" after a buffet meal...lol

We did this and it started to rain just as we entered WL. We ended up exploring the lobby and having fun in the game room there. Too messy to head to FW for pony rides, so its on the list for next trip.
