Best Way to Get Cancellations

I have been faithfully checking the online reservation system to tweak one of my dining reservations. I have not seen any changes. Where do you have the best luck to snag a cancellation? Online or calling.

I've been having great luck online. You have to be flexible though. We don't usually eat at 7 or 8 pm but I just got a 7pm Ohana and I'll eat at 9pm to get a LeCellier for the DH. I have found that if you check all the ressies all at once for a certain time I've had better luck. And I check several times a day and also check the cancel thread several times a day. You just never know. It seems that a lot of people cancel early morning and late at night though.

I only check online, but I have found that the best way of getting a cancellation is subscribing to the cancellation thread here for the month you are visiting WDW. I got a Le Cellier dinner that way!
