Best way to get a friend from airport to saratoga springs.

I have a friend who is flying in to stay with me a couple days while I am Disney. What is the best way to get from the airport to Saratoga Springs without using Magical Express?

I have thought about just renting a car for that day to go out to the airport myself. However, I have heard that the traffic is pretty bad in the afternoons and his flight doesn't get in until 3:30.

Any ideas would be welcome.

Mears' shuttle.

There is a desk near the Magical Express desk on the B side lowest level of the main terminal, also Mears has another desk on the A side.

Cost is about $19 one way.

Since he needs to be on your room reservation as of the day he arrives, why not use Magical Express? (Make reservation in advance.)

By "best way" are you asking cheapest or quickest?

Mears shuttle might be the cheapest but it isn't going to be the quickest method as they drop people off at a number of different hotels and resorts. A car rental would go quicker but probably not very cost effective if that's the only reason that your friend will use the car. Taxi would probably be the quickest methods though more expensive (I'd guess around $50).

The absolute least expensive way, other than Magical Express, would be Lynx bus from the airport to Downtown Disney, then walk over to Saratoga Springs. He would have to manage his own luggage on a public bus, so I probably wouldn't suggest it unless we are omly talking a couple bags.
