Best way to find last minute 2BR? Need help!!

Hi everyone, we have a trip booked and paid for the week of May 3-10 through RCI (Sheraton Vistana) but we may need to cancel- we just put my father in law in hospice (

We have a 3 yo who is soooo excited to go, so we are thinking that if we cancel, maybe we could try going soon thereafter

What booking engine/sites do you like for cheap rates on 2 BR condos/villas? Any advice?

We are unfortunately going to lose the money we paid for to the VIstana if we cx with this short of notice.

I often see Vistana on Skyauction.com and on ebay. Have you tried tugbbs.com? You may find help on there as well.

Caribe Royal is a suite hotel with 2 bedroom "villa" suites, they generally have availability at short notice.

are you sure you need to cancel?

if you go later - that is the summer - first it is hot, humidity is awfully, and you can forget doing anything in the afternoon - if you last that long.

if you can't go in May - then suggest Oct or Nov.

but if you insist

Thank you for the link. I am not sure we need to cancel at this point- will depend on what the next couple of weeks bring. I think coming up with some plan B's is just something my brain needs to do right now if you KWIM. If we cancel and book something else, we will probably do May if DH is up for it. If not we will def be looking at fall. We are not summer in Wdw people, that's for sure.
My parents are RCI members so we do have access to their Last Calls.... I have been checking that out too.

Skyauction has offers you can book with as little as three days notice starting at $259 per week for a two bedroom unit. Look for last minute auctions that include taxes and fees. Read reviews first because some of the complexes are not that great.

I've heard eBay is the best for last minute stuff.

We've stayed here twice: http://www.vrbo.com/89676 and were happy both times. One more bedroom than you were looking for, but it looks like May is open.
