I have been checking side step once a week and watching airfare prices. (I have tried orbitz and travelocity too but side step seems more comprehensive)
Is there a site that is good and current with airline specials (like friends fly free)
How do you guys save on airfare?
Any input please.

Checked every day! Finally on Christmas day as I thought I would give it another shot and got unbelievable deal on JetBlue via Sidestep. I checked their web site and the price was even lower so I grabbed it then. It was my best Christmas present this past year! :teeth:

Don't forget to check airline websites that don't use the 'consolidators' like sidestep. For example, Southwest Airlines often has great deals for us, but I have to check their website directly since they don't use orbitz, travelocity, sidestep, etc.

If you have the option, change your days one way or the other just to see if you can save some.

I wouldn't give up checking other consolidator sites besides sidestep. You never know what might get put out on another site. I know on orbitz you can set a flight and dates and they will e-mail you when a fare comes up under a certain amount that you set.

Good luck finding a great fare!

I thought SWA was on side step- that's why I was using it. Oh no- back to the drawing board.
