Best way to do a waitlist

Can anyone tell me the best way to do a waitlist? We waited for BCV, having had SSR booked for this summer and it didn't happen. Now we have two studios booked for Thanksgiving (at SSR again) and are again on the waitlist for either BCV or VWL. Hasd anyone been successful in getting two rooms changed at the same time? I'm afraid to change them separately in case one changes and the other does not.
