What's the best way (least expensive and easiest) way to move from one resort to another? Need to move from CR to BC. How does luggage get handled? Do we need to get a taxi? Does Disney help with this at all? Thanks!
Just let Bell Services know the night before that you will be checking out in the morning. You then arrange a time for them to come get your bags. They will then take care of getting them over to BC. We usually have breakfast someplace and then take a bus from a park over to the new resort, check-in and head off to a park. You could get lucky and be able to get into your room early...unless you're staying at the Villas. Those are the only times I have had to wait until the 'official' check-in time to get into our room. Be aware though...you may not get your luggage until mid-afternoon/late afternoon.
AWESOME! We're doing breakfast at Chef Mickeys the day we check out of CR. So we'll have bell servcies take our luggage and then mosey over to Mk and hop a bus to BC and check in! Thanks!
There is no charge to move your luggage from one Disney resort to another. I would imagine you should tip on both sides assuming you will be in the room when the bags are picked up and delivered. I am not sure if you have to be there for pick up and again on the delivery side or if Disney will take them from your room in resort one and deliver them to your room in resort two. I'm sure others know better about this.
I love these boards I didn't know they had this service. I just thought I would have to use a cab or van to get my luggage to our second hotel. You made my day. Thanks.
