Hi all! I’m looking to book five cruise cabins for my extended family group. I’d like to book through Costco to get the Costco cash back. Online, it only allows me to book two cabins at once. What’s the best way to book so that everybody sits together at dinner, but has their own app access and is able to link their own credit cards to their cabins for incidentals? Ideally we would also have rooms very close by or connecting to eachother. Thanks!

Yes, a TA (like Costco) can book multiple rooms for large groups and get them close together with some having interior connecting doors. It may also be possible to open balconies depending on location.

App access and credit cards on the accounts have nothing to do with the initial booking. You set all that up on your own.
You'll do on-board app access at the port and you don't even need an account at that point - just name and room number. Credit card is set up when you do final check in before the cruise.

The TA can facilitate linking reservations for the purposes of eating together, but it is still possible to link reservations on your own too.

Just be sure that you have settled who is booked into which stateroom. There was a poster somewhat recently who somehow had managed to just randomly book their party into multiple staterooms without realizing it would impact fares, tips, onboard accounts, kids' permissions, etc. and not easily adjusted (though once onboard, you can switch up who sleeps where easily).

Costco can do this but I would call and do it with them on the phone. Their agents are great and with trying to get rooms together I would rather talk to someone plus as other posters have mentioned you can make sure the right people are in the right rooms.
