Best way from Cali Grill to YC after park close?

Hey everyone - we are putting the finishing touches on our trip plans for next month but have a question. We have a 7:45pm ressie at CG (first time!). This falls on a MNSSHP night. I'm assuming by the time we get out it will be close to 9:00 or later. What is the best way to get back to YC after? If Illuminations is still going at Epcot I'm assuming we could just monorail over to Epcot and then walk through WS to the IG over to our resort, but if Illum. is over I'm thinking a bus from MK would be better (and less crowded) vs. monorail to TTC and dealing with everyone coming from EP after Illum. but not sure if there's another option I'm missing?? WWYD?

Using WDW transportation, I would monorial to MK and then take the bus to the YC. Unless you wanted to do something at Epcot on your way through, otherwise it would take a while and its a long walk.

Honestly though we usually budget $ for cabs when traveling resort/resort and its IMHO well worth it. Much more relaxing after a nice dinner to jump in a cab and head straight back to the resort.

So my first choice would be cab, 2nd choice bus from MK

I would monorail or walk to MK and take the bus from there.

First though I would check to see what time fireworks were for the party and plan to either watch them from the Contemporary or the Poly.

For a 7:45 dinner at California Grill you should not be done and able to get back to Epcot before they close at 9 to walk through...and besides that would be a huge hassle.

Really easy to bus from MK.

Walk to the MK bus area and take the YC bus back...OR take a cab.
