Best way from AK to MK?

We will be hopping one day from AK to MK. Is there a direct bus, or do we transfer somewhere? Would using our rental car be easier?

There is a bus from AK to the TTC that runs every 20 minutes. At the TTC you would transfer to the express monorail or ferry boat for the trip across Seven Seas Lagoon to the Magic Kingdom. It wouldn't help much to use a rental car here, since the MK parking lot is at the TTC and you still have to take the monorail or ferry to get to the entrance.
