Well I have never been to either so my thoughts are only based on research and asking questions. I plan to take a 5 year old, 3 year old and 17 month old to BB. The reasons are - my kids have been to an indoor waterpark and I know the love slides, from what I can see BB has more. My DS (who turns 5 that week) is pretty adventurous and I think he will like the preteen area at BB. The negatives that I have read is that BB does not have as much shade (which will be a challenge since I have two redheads). Many people seem to like TL for the younger set, I think it has more shade and some love the wave pool. For my kids the wave pool scares me. I have read a number of stories of kids, and even adults getting their backsides scraped up. My kids are not the worlds greatest listeners, plus there are two that might be in the water at one time so if DH isn't bracing or holding both one could get knocked to the ground and I can't trust my kids to run out of the water when they hear the whoosh sound. So, I think it really depends on your kids. From what I have read both are great for little guys.
