Want to go to one water late in late march and need help deciding which one. I heard TL is opening a new ride, but not sure we'd get to goon it anyway. Our groups consists of a 2 year old, 30ish, 50ish and 85 year old. Wondering which one has the most geared towards the 2 year old. Everyone wants to see her interact, experience, but we are along for the ride!

Any experience with either?

Hi!

My family constists of Me (33), DH (31), DS (9), DS (6) and DS (4) :grouphug: . I think TL will be a better water park for your family only because they have more rides that will fit your family. For what I have heard BB has rides for the older kids.. :confused3

I haven't been to the water parks with our kids, but when DH and I went right before the first was born, we found BB to be geared more to thrill seekers (and seems to attract more teens & yound adults), and TL was a more relaxed atmosphere with more young families. Of course they each have fast rides and each have quieter areas, but in general I would lean towards TL. When we go next year w/kids, that's where we're headed!

TL might be busier than normal due to the new slide. Both parks have a kiddie area. We have PAP's so go to both water parks frequently. BB seems to attract more of the teen crowd. Which can be a good thing if you have a little one, less little kids, hence less crowded at the kiddie area. I have never been to either park with a 2 year old. When my oldest ds started going to water parks he was 5. We have just had a baby last year. He has been to BB twice. We have had him in the lazy river on a tube, in the wave pool, and wading in the pool area of the pre-teen beach patrol of BB. My advice to anyone with a small child on the lazy river is to not do it when it is crowded. People push and shove the tubes and it can be very intimidating to a small one. For us, what worked was to put baby on the tube and one of us to walk the river holding onto him. He loved it, but it was ALOT of work for us. Both parks have shaded areas. At TL you can find a spot in the shade with a picnic table, beach chairs and sand to play in, if you look hard enough!
