Best Wand Spell Locations

We’ve been to the parks a few times with interactive wands and seem to gravitate to our favorite spell locations. And, for whatever reason, we really only use our wands in Diagon Alley.

My kids (5 and 9) really enjoy making the umbrella rain, the skeleton dance and the heads sing.

I would love ideas on where your favorite places are so we can try something new!

I love the suit of armor in front of the Hopping Pot food stall, although there are usually too many kids there for me to get a turn. It's still a great effect, though! And the jumping water at the well right behind that is also great, just look out when walking past so you aren't hit by the water.

I also really like the music box outside the shop next to the entrance to Hagrid's, and that one usually doesn't have anyone else waiting for it.

Oh, and it's not a spell, but if you're standing in front of the entrance to Hagrid's and look up above the shop, there's a cool clock, and on the hour (and I think also every 15 minutes, but I'm not positive), there's an owl who comes out at the top like a cuckoo clock. It's very cute.

There is no spell to make heads sing. I assume you’re talking about the shrunken heads in Knockturn Alley...the spell prevents them from speaking/singing temporarily. Muffliato I think, a nasty jinx young ones shouldn’t know. Singing and speaking is their default mode.

The astronomy one in Diagon is neat as there are different constellations that form. Outside the store you exit from after visiting Gringotts. To the right of that is a book with invisible ink. That one also has variety.

My favorites are the invisible ink one, the lights up above the entrance to knockturn alley and the book at the end of Hogsmeade before the stage.

My kids will tell you that You Know Poo wins hands down. Or, well, something else down...

I really like: Chimney Sweep Elf Sign, Tallow and Hemp Toxic Tapers Spell, and Flimflams Lanterns Spell in Diagon Alley.

This made me laugh!! You can tell I’m the one watching my kids excitement and then moving them so the next person in line can go - and not watching the actual spell outcome.

I’ll have to pay attention better!!
