Best walking shoes for WDW and why?

Can't answer about the shoes, but for socks I'd have to say Thorlo. When I broke my toe a couple years ago, the podiatrist told me to wear Thorlo socks and a particular style of New Balance shoes. Those socks are wonderful, and they have what seems like a million styles to choose from depending on your need. I've thrown out all other socks, and made DH do the same, and replaced with only Thorlo.

Oooh yes, we love Thorlo socks. We have a few pairs of them!!

I know...another vote for Crocs, I love them and I will be wearing them in Sept. But my other choice and what I always wore in Disney before crocs is Tevas. I will be taking tevas and crocs with me.
