Do you have a favorite WDW walking path?
I love walking... I would be happiest if I could skip the monorail, buses, etc. while at WDW. Clearly this is not practical with WDW's 40 square Miles.

In 2013 I enjoyed walking on the path between the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian & TTC. I also loved the walk between Hollywood Studios and Epcot (Via Boardwalk).

Are there other walks I should know about? Please tell me about your favorite walking routes.

Walking around Pop and over the bridge to AoA is a nice morning walk...just beware of the designated smoking areas.

POFQ to POR round trip along the river is another good choice.

DTD to SSR - I've yet to do this one but it's supposed to be a pleasant walk.

Walking around the All Star complex is a good trek as well as walking around CBR.

Favorite walking paths:
Pop to Art of Animation
The Epcot Resorts loop inlcuding walking over to DHS
Fort Wilderness from parking lot to Hoop Dee Doo, especially at christmas or halloween to see the decorations

From the Train Station to the HUB. :) ;)

I also love anywhere at Port Orleans Riverside for the lushness. Love the Boardwalk area.

We love the path from Saratoga to Downtown/Springs Marketplace. And the paths through Saratoga -- great view of Springs and the waterway.

Not sure of status with the construction, but you used to be able to go all the way around through West Side area too. Great walk!

The walkway from DHS to Epcot via the canal is my favorite, especially to run early in the morning. I've looped it a few times to get in a longer run and like to head up to Buena Vista drive and down the other side of the canal that no one seems to even know about.

The path between the Port Orleans resorts is also really nice and the walk from WL to Ft. Wilderness.

Another one for the loop around the Epcot resorts, Swan/Dolphin and HS. Early in the morning it is so pleasant and other than other crazy people like yourself, there is no one about except wildlife. I actually like doing the early morning walk from IG to the front of Epcot as well. You can stroll through UK and Canada and then through the rose garden with not many people around so if you want to stop and smell the roses (literally) you can. I love walking around the back streets of HS, while there are people there most of them are in a hurry to get from point A to point B and I just stroll along and actually look at the shop windows back there. You can't go wrong strolling the trails at AK, lush vegetation and critters everywhere.

Can anyone verify that the All-Stars, BB, and CSR can be walked together? I've heard there are sidewalks/crosswalks between them, but never took the time to look!

Yes, you can walk from the All-Stars to McDonalds to Winter Wonderland to BB and to CSR all by sidewalk. There are cross walks along the away. I thought about doing this the last time I stayed at ASMo and walk to CSR, but changed my mind. If I remember right, I checked the route by doing street view of Google Maps.

Perfect, thanks. I want to try walking from Sports to Pepper Market.

You can walk from Old Key West Resort to DTD. It starts behind building number 55. It is a long walk, at least 30 minutes or more.

same as what others said
Studios to Epcot
Around POP and Art of Aimation if I'm staying there or visiting to eat.

I do like the walk from FOrt Wilderness to Wilderness, but I've made the mistake in doing it the hot afternoon sun pounding on you time, not that fun then.

The walk from Riverside to French Quarter is nice too, we usually eat there once.

Ditto!

HS To Epcot, the jogging trail around Boardwalk;

Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wildnerness Camground Nature Trail, great for bicycling too (spend an afternoon doing this, 7 miles of bicycling fun). Watch out for snakes!;

Saratoga Springs has great walking trails and a connecting bridge to Downtown Disney, where you can do some even more walking;

And Contemporary to GF to Poly to TTC and back.
