Best villa for a 3y/0

we are going to WDW may 2016 for the first time in 3 years. We have stayed at many different resorts. This visit we are renting points to stay in a villa. There will be 5 adults and a3 y/or who has never been there. I'm trying to decide which villa would be the best.

What size villa are you thinking of renting. Family dynamics play important part.

With five adults and the toddler I would stay in a BLT 2BR. There are 3 bathrooms so it will be quick to get ready in the mornings or before going out to dinner. And the resort is walking distance to MK where there are more attractions for a toddler. You also have the option of using the monorail which you can roll the stroller right onboard, to travel to other Monorail resorts, MK or switch monorails at the TTC to go to Epcot. You have lots of dining options between all the resorts nearby, including Ft. Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge by ferry (strollers have to folded on the small ferry).

I agreed with DenLo - BLT - just being able to walk back to BLT when the MK closes (if you stay that late) is worth the extra points.

also makes it easier to separate - so everyone does not have to go back when the little one gets tired. they can go to another park or whatever

With 5 Adults and a toddler, you are definitely looking at a 2BR villa. After that it really depends on who the adults are, and who sleeps with whom. If you can provide those details, it is a lot easier to recommend specific locations. But BLT 2BR does provide a lot of sleeping options and proximity to MK so that may end up being your best option anyway.

We just did a trip with a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. Stayed in 3 different villas. Our 3 year old LOVED BCV and Storm Along. It was also nice to walk to Epcot at night with a stroller for some adult fun if the kids were sleeping.

Again, depends on your room situation. AKV was fun for the 3 year old but the busses were an absolute pain with the stroller. With BCV we just walked through epcot to the monorail or walked to MGM.

BLT would be nice for the walk to MK, but we just did not like the theming.

Personally, I would do BCV or VGF ( I don't know your points/room situation). If you will spend a lot of time at the hotel...make sure it is a fun place. We love BWV...our 3 year old, not so much.
