Best viewing spot for fireworks

I will be at DL on Colulmbus Day, but I will not be in the park. According to the park hours, I'm pretty sure they will show fireworks that evening. I am staying at the DLH but I don't know if my room will have a view of the park.

All the years I've been going to DL, I've always been inside the parks to watch the fireworks.

Where is the best place to see fireworks outside DL? Can you see them from DTD or the plaza?

We like watching them from the top of the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

We have never done this, but we have seen lots and lots of people sitting in the plaza between CA and DL to watch the fireworks. Not sure how good you can see them from DTD unless you were right by the World of Disney store or La Brea.

You get a good view from the plaza between the 2 parks - we watched them one evening from there after coming out of CA. Also, as someone else suggested, we got a great view from the top of Mickey & Friends parking structure, though you don't get the effect of seeing both sets of fireworks one behind the other (they're set off in 2 locations, which you can't notice when you watch them from in front but is obvious when you watch from the side).
