We are headed for are first stay at BLT. We have a 2BR lake-view. Need advice on what request to make.

Most advice on best lake-view rooms is how to get a partial-MK view. We've got somebody going who isn't a theme park fan and will spend much of the day relaxing on the balcony. Her preference would be for the most nature-filled view possible. Any thoughts on where those might be?

Are the views from "inside the C" mostly of the lake? Or of the other wings of the BLT building?

Any thought and advice much appreciated.

I would then request even "d on the southern end. That gives you a view that could be looking out toward WL and Epcot.

The inside ones can just face across the balcony.

I don't know the numbers but the odd rooms in the center of the building should have a really good view of the lake and discovery island- if you have an odd number on either side you are facing across the resort.

This was our view from room 8044. It was a 2 bedroom lake view.

We were on the southern end of the outerside of the crescent - 8042 I think? The views were nice - we could watch the epcot fireworks and the water parade from our balcony (direct view) at night...we had lots of water in the view, as well as the tops of VWL and the pool at the contemporary...

This was our view from studio #7909, lakeview. We loved watching people in the pool and the boats coming and going.

Here's the view I had from a studio on the 10th floor, forgot the room number.

just got back, request ANY room that is not on the wing closest to the contemporary. the interior rooms on that wing have the worst views, you get to hear the water parade each night but not see it.

was sad watching kids over there not know what was going on :( the rest of the interior views are pretty much the same

We stayed a lakeview 2 bdr last July in room 7405. Our view was almost the same as the earlier post pic of room 7909, except we were on the 4th floor and closer to the pool. We still had an excellant view of the lake, water parade and pool.

I would recommend asking for a room as high up as possible. My favorite lake view was the pool/lake view from the inside of the crescent.

I know the rooms on the outside of the crescent have a little wider eating area and bar chairs with the kitchen island. I had actually asked for a lakeview on the outside of the crescent but ended up with a lakeview on the inside and I was very glad. The view of the lake /pool was beautiful.

We loved staying there and can't wait to go back! Have a great time!

If you want a partial MK view you'd ask for the north crescent, even numbered room.

Inside the "C" or odd numbered rooms do have a greater chance of views that face the other wing. Think about it, there are three sides and the two ends face each other.

We had a lockoff 1BR, Room 8142 that had a pretty good view. It could be a lockoff 2BR. We asked for an even numbered room, high floor.

View from living room.

We were right in the middle of the inside crescent and had beautiful views of Bay Lake and Discovery Island. It's fun to watch the boats and the EWP each night. My kids ran to the balcony as soon as they heard that music, it was so cute! Also we saw many beautiful sunrises over Discovery Island - that's how early we were up everyday to beat the crowds during Christmas week!! LOL!!

Our day and night view from #7405. 2 bedroom lake view. We were the last room on our side (the inside on the side closest to MK)
