Best View at SSR?

How are the golf course view? Which is the best view????

Personally, I was stunned, yes stunned, by the wonderful view from one of the far Grandstand buildings. I had the near SSR landscaping, then a golf course fairway, then the river (with boats) to OKW, then the mature tree-line..

While none of the individual elements would win awards, layered together, wow!

(As far as watching golf, I could only see one fairway and green. As mentioned above, let us know if you are wanting to see a number of holes, and/or water, and/or activity)

The only view I ever have in my SSR units is that of closed eye-lids,not ever there long enough for it to matter

We had the golf course view for 1 night last week in one of the Paddock buildings. We transferred after the first night because we don't care for this resort at all.

At the main pool, on the upper side walk is a great view looking out!

We had Congress Park overlooking Downtown Disney - loved it! We then transferred to Beach Club and I missed the view so much I wished we had stayed at SSR. We also loved our stay at the Beach Club but our view did not compare.

It just wasn't our cup of tea....we didn't care for the grounds, restaurant & location.

For DVC we like BC, BW, AKV, VWL.

I just wanted to say Hi wendyinoc. We'll be there in 10 days too!

We requested the Grandstand section and I was just asking my DH tonight what kind of view he would like. It doesn't matter to us. I think Congress Park with a view of DTD would be spectacular.

I just want to go NOW.......

We are going home to SSR for the first time in 2/09 for a few days before our cruise. I did not request any specific section. Should I? DTD will be our most frequented spot as we are not, oh the pain , going to the parks. Suggestions are welcome!!!
