Best Vegetarian On Property?

My mom is vegetarian and she really enjoyed her options at Ohana for dinner.

What was offered for vegetarian? My daughter sometimes refuses to eat meat, and she's already said she doesn't want the choices at Ohana, but will happily make a vegetarian choice.

'50s Prime Time used to have a great vegan spaghetti and meatless meatballs. Now it's no longer vegan and may not even be vegetarian, if they even still have it. But when I was there a few months ago, the chef told me that the meatless meatballs now have egg in them.

I'm not vegan nor vegetarian but I had that dish there a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. I've tried a few times to find it there again since (with or without egg is OK for me), but it seems to be gone from the adult menu.

Typically it seems like it's a stir-fry made with tofu. And then some of the sides/bread are vegetarian to go along with that. Nothing amazing, but your daughter also wouldn't end up going hungry!

I can't believe no one has said Spice Road Table and Tangerine Cafe. I'm not a vegetarian, but I love the vegetarian options at both. Sanaa is a great suggestion.

We plan on at least two meals in Morocco. All of my previous visits have included food from that pavilion and it is consistently tasty! Sanaa is a given assuming I can get the booking I want.

@robinsa88 has a really good dining review that includes reviews of her vegetarian friend's meals and experiences. I'd recommend that you look it up, it was a great review. @robinsa88, I hope you don't mind the shout out!

The QS fried green tomato sandwich at Fairfax Fare at HS is very tasty, and that QS place in Morocco has great falafel and babaganoush. Also at Epcot there's a food stand where you can get grilled cheese and tomato soup that's pretty tasty (I don't remember what it's called). The flatbread pizza at Pinocchio Haus is ok. For AK QS there's always Pizzafari, but I prefer just getting fries at Restaurantosaurus and loading them up with goodies from the toppings bar. I think MK is the worst for vegetarian options, especially QS.

There are definitely a lot more great choices for table service. Boma is awesome, Tusker House to me is a not quite as good version of Boma (but still great, and in the park, with characters), Biergarten has a lot of delicious vegetarian options.

My votes would go to Tangierine Cafe at Morocco pavilion in EPCOT and BOMA dinner buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge--basically any reason is worth taking in order to spend time at the Lodge imo! Very romantic place to hang out for you and your girlfriend either before or after dinner too!

Thanks! It's in my signature - we did 19 days Deluxe Dining plan with a vegetarian! Just in the process of fixing some photos in that review as photobucket no longer want to host - but after the first couple of posts all the photos are there, so don't be put off!

We enjoy a lot of the African inspired places (Sanaa, Boma, Tusker House) and these have pretty substantial vegetarian options.

I agree with an earlier poster - Sanaa is fantastic for vegetarian options - esp if your girlfriend is a fan of Indian food!
