Our next trip isn't planned until a year from now and it's killing me!! So, I'm planning a mini four day trip just my daughter, my Mom, and me in September. I have never stayed at a value so I don't know anything at all about them. Which one would be best in your opinion? Just a bit of info, my daughter is two, we will have a car but won't be taking it to the parks just using Disney buses. Thanks.

Pop has dedicated busses which probably makes it the best value since it also qualifies for discounts.

They're all essentially the same though amenity wise. Te theming is just different.

I like the AoA rooms the best but the LM standards are excluded from discounts.

If you are booking room only rates, ORBITZ discounts the LM rooms. We love AofA!

IMO AoA is the best value, but if budget is your reason for choosing a value, AoA is also the most expensive of the values. Pop is much lower in price and you can easily walk over the bridge to check out AoA.

AoA is awesome theme wise, but, unless you are getting a suite, the rooms (LM) are a bit distant from the main building and buses. POP is often available for a lower price and is just across the bridge from AoA, so you can walk across to see the amazing theming and take some pics. It also allows you to access the AoA food court which has some good options.

AS resorts are essentially the same with different theming. They are all good, but if the bus is shared, AS sports is the first pick up and drop off, if that matters to you. AS Music has the most distnt standard rooms, so preferred rooms are a more important option here. ASMu also has some suites that are sometimes less expensive than those at AoA.

We have stayed at Movies (which my kids adored because of the theme) and POP a couple of times. We love Value resorts. We don't spend much time at the resort and are park crazy so the themes just add to the fun. As someone else stated the bus specifically for the POP makes it stand out in my opinion. We had many positives due to the single bus. Stopping at all 3 for the others can be tiring and we spent more time waiting on buses it seemed.

I'm with Disney Mom, AofA is pretty awesome as far as value resorts go!

POP is my choice. I personally like to be able to stand outside the room watching the activity while leaning against the railing with a cold beer at the end of a long day. Almost like having a balcony. I can't do that at AoA unless in the LM rooms.

As you can see in my signature I have stayed at each of the values multiple times except AoA (1x).

Music is my favorite -- it tends to be a bit quieter as it attracts more adults; but each value has it's own features!

Love the location and the lake view at pop, but s it has 1,000 more rooms than the All Stars, it has more people in the food court, waiting for buses, etc. as well.

Each of the values has pools with all kinds of kids' activities at poolside.

A lot depends on what is important to your family. If busses are a priority, Pop or ASSports would be your best bets. If you will be using the food courts a lot, Pop can be very hectic at breakfast especially. I personally found AoA food court extremely loud, so for that reason I would never stay there. But the theming can't be beat. If you are pushing a wheelchair or stroller, there are stairs at the pool at either ASMu or ASMo, I can't remember which, and I found that inconvenient. Also, the All Star Resorts are in a different county and so for that reason, the taxes are higher, if that is important to you.

For a Disney feel, ASMo is the best resort in all of WDW, IMO. Everywhere that you look, everything that you see or hear - it all screams "Disney!"
