Best Value Table Service Restaurants

If you were happy with the dining plan, you could just put away the same amount of money, eat where you want, not worry about the value, and most likely still have money left over.
rarely did the dining plan save you money.
I would agree that we loved the Boma breakfast and hope it reopens soon.
Yak and Yeti also was very good and priced reasonably.
Doing a signature and splitting the app and entrée may be a good option for you.
This is very true. I guess when I'm on the dining plan, I don't "worry" about prices, we just eat at any restaurant regardless of the cost. Out of pocket seems different.... I know it isn't. It's a mental block.
That's why I was asking what restaurants are good value and good food. Like when I'm on the dining plan, we don't eat at Sci Fi or 50s primetime, as there are pretty inexpensive places to eat out of pocket. I was just trying to wrap my head around reservations from a different point of reference.
I agree with you, in just setting aside the dining plan money ahead of time.

And lovely atmosphere too. We quite often eat here, and it will be on the list for this trip too.
Good point! The animals are always wonderful to watch. The Community Hall was also great for LOs if we were too early for our reservations. (Don’t know if it’s currently open though.)

We were at Sanaa in April. The food was very good. Loved the extra room around the tables due to social distancing.

We generally don't eat at buffets, as we aren't particularly big eaters. Those look like great options. I think the Wave might be closed for renovations while we are there.
We just got back from a 12 day trip a week ago.
Liberty Tree is always one of the best value TS meals. IOO The food is at least "good" and it was "very good" just a few weeks back.
We were pleasantly surprised with Raglan Road. The food was good, the portions were large, the entertainment was excellent and the price point wasn't bad at all.
Whispering Canyon is another good bang for your buck.
Sanaa anytime during the day light is a decent enough price point considering the views.
Sci-Fi and Beaches and Cream are both good price points. Of course, you are talking burgers and sandwiches, but after a few expensive meals you may be craving something of the sort. We do.
Another is Three Bridges Bar and Grill at CSR it' is out in the middle of the lake and they have a nice menu.
Chefs De France has a Prix Fixe menu that is a good deal if you are looking for a nice filet or duck dish at a decent price.
Yak and Yeti was another first on our trip last month and we were impressed with the price point and food. (We are from Houston, so we are saturated with Landry's brand. Ha)
Even Boathouse can be a decent price point depending on what you order.

Thank you .... these are great suggestions. I am going to look into some of them.
I'm so jealous about your 12 day trip. Can't wait to get back.

We didn't go in 2020, so we decided to combine this year and last year into one trip. Ha It was a nice break from reality, but it came and went far too quickly. Ha

Our family will often spend less at Via Napoli than at some CS restaurants. Their pizza is a great value. I'm not a pizza person, but I absolutely love theirs.

It really does depend on your eating habits. I looked at the dining plan prices and decided to pay out of pocket instead. The cost was pretty much identical when I added it all up. The difference was that we weren't stuck to adhering to the dining plan credit use rules. We only ate breakfast once while we were there. A full meal with an appetizer and dessert generally doesn't work for me, due to my allergies. So, it was way easier to order what we wanted when we wanted. We ate at some more expensive restaurants like Flying Fish, California Grill, Jiko, and The Boathouse. We ate at some mid-range places like 50's Prime Time Cafe, Sanaa, and The Skipper Canteen. Then we ate at QS whenever we got hungry. It averaged out to $100 per person, per day. I would recommend all of the mid-range places.

Sanaa, Skipper Canteen, and Homecomin'. I would eat at these three restaurants again in a heartbeat. The portions are great, the food is wonderful and unique, and the prices are reasonable IMO.

Homecomin', Wave, Boathouse. Homecomin' is our favorite, we ate there 4 times last trip. We also didn't have a reservation once, just walked up and they let us wait.

IMO, Homecomin and Boathouse (with Homecomin coming in first) are the best "values" when you factor in price, food quality and service.

Ate at Homecomin last night. DW and I celebrated our 46th anniversary. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Total bill, $80 and change. Food was wonderful as always, and Guiseppe, our server, was incredible.

Boathouse has many very pricy pros on the menu, but also a ton of less expensive items. They usually have nightly specials that I've found have really good price points.

My only problem with these two is that I only get to choose one of them on each trip.

Another moderately priced place is Olivia's at OKW. Good food, good service (usually).

One of the best values for TS that I experienced was at Chefs de France at EP. A Prix fixe menu for $55. App, entree, desert and glass of wine. Great price, food and service.

I forgot about this one. We never try it because my hubby loves Chefs de France and Coral Reef, so those are usually the ones we go to on Epcot days. May have to try and talk him out of one of the usual places to try this.

You became regulars in one trip. I ate there once a few trips ago and it was delicious. Portions were huge.

Happy Anniversary. Why do you only get to choose one of those restaurants per trip?

We rarely get to Disney Springs more than once per trip. Not that we don't want to, but the logistics just never seem to work out for us.

Since we usually have the dining plan on our trips, usually we are not concerned with the value of our meals... more about the experience. Now with the prospect of no dining plan on our next trip, I find myself trying to figure out which table service restaurants have the best bang for your buck.
Any suggestions?
I won't list any buffets because not all of them are open at this time. Some of my favorites are:
Sanaa-if it is just my husband and I, we get the bread service and split an entree
D-Lux burger is not a table service but good value
Chef Art Smith is a favorite-we get 2 apps here and share an entree
RainForest Cafe is great if you sign up for Landry's card - their large appetizers easily feeds 3 adults and you can use your reward on it
Both of the Mexican restaurants in Epcot are good and have some larger entrees
Grand Floridian Cafe is good. Crab Benedict was not on menu last time, but available
Mama Melrose is a pretty good value.
Not a table service but the shareable platter at Polite Pig is soooo good
If it opens back up Nine Dragons is okay and Yak & Yeti

I will add that we generally put the amount we would spend on the dining plan on a Disney Gift card and we always come out ahead unless we bring the grandkids, because we eat character meals with them and the DP is a great use for those credits.

happy planning!

Honestly, that is the same for us too. There are so many great restaurants there, but other things always take priority.
