BEST "value room at "POLY" ?

Any opinions for the "best" "VALUE/GARDEN room at the Poly? We are going ( wife and 8 year old son) and knowing it's slow season ( if there really is one !) we are going to try for an upgrade. Assuming we do not get it, which building and room would be the best one to request for a value room ?

Do the garden rooms come with balbonies? I've read some posts that said they do not.

Any suggestions?

I've never stayed at the Poly (hoping to if discounts come out) but I've read that some buildings only have balconies on the 3rd floor and patios on the 1st floor - and nothing but a window on the 2nd floor. I think there may be some newer buildings with 2nd floor balconies however.

We stayed in garden view room in Dec. We were in room 3916 in Tokelau. View of TTC and lagoon from room. From balcony, we could see Space Mountain and Contemporary. The room was huge. I knew from Tikiman's site that we had the best chance for a lagoon view with garden view price at Tokelau. It just depends what you want a view of. Also, I think the newer longhouses have bigger rooms.

Not all rooms have balconies. Some 2nd floor rooms in older longhouses do not. Tell them you want a balcony. We didn't like the room we were first assigned so we switched.
