Best value restaurants

At MK, Liberty Tree Tavern for the a la carte menu at lunch and Skipper’s.

Liberty Tree Tavern doesn't have their a la carte menu available any more. All they have is the "all you care to enjoy" Patriots Platter lfor $39

We like Earl of Sandwich at DS and Flame Tree BBQ at AK. Both have good quality food for QS at a reasonable price. I've heard good things about the Satu'li Canteen at AK but have not had the chance to eat there. As others have mentioned Yak and Yeti counter service at AK is a good value also. Out favorite at MK is the Columbia Harbor House (closed now but I imagine they will be re-opening soon) and Pecos Bill has large portions at a reasonable price.

I got a free Earl of sandwich sandwich with any purchase (I bought the 1 dollar brownie/cookie) from the Earl of Sandwich app

We ate at the Plaza Christmas week, and it was truly terrible. My philly cheese steak was awful--they use some disgusting cheese sauce instead of real cheese. This is the same "cheese" that was on my husband's loaded appetizer fries that were just pitifully covered with some chunky, barely red tomatoes and some tired looking lettuce. Seriously, Pinnochio Village Haus was better.
Maybe you got a proper Cheese Whiz filled Philly cheesesteak. Hmmmm yum, whiz.... cheese food product.

That's disappointing! Hope it doesn't stay that way forever!

I found Big River Grille at the Boardwalk to be one of the better values. I think it was the only sit-down place we ate at during our week-long trip that didn't make me feel like I paid the 'Disney tax'. That said, I don't think they are Disney-run, as they didn't give the 15% discount for using a Disney Visa card (and similarly don't appear to be on the Dining Plan).

And unfortunately they’re closed now. I think I read that the parent company filed for bankruptcy as well. The sign was still there the week before Christmas, though, while the Ample Hills sign was gone, so I guess there’s hope for Big River Grill to return.

I’m from the Philly area and the reason they’re called “Philly cheesesteaks“ is because Phillys the only place to get a real one. Often imitate, never duplicated.

We did OOP for the first time this Christmas. We usually do dining plan.

We did breakfast at Topolino’s which is a good price for a higher end character meal. They offer a ton of food (you can order whatever you want, as much as you want). It’s $42 per person and a better deal then other AYCE options. Specifically if you do a late breakfast so it is more of a brunch.

we did SciFi dine in, which was a decent value. And Whispering Canyon which was a great deal. We did a late “breakfast” there, at 10:55am before they swapped to lunch.

we did Mama Melrose, their kids meals are very large. I ordered the kids chicken Parmesan and couldn’t finish it. My daughter had the pasta and meatballs and also ate less then half.

we also went to le cellier, never had been. We all got the Cheddar soup, and then shared a poutine. My daughter ordered the kids steak and a kids soup. The soup was small but well more food then she could eat.

We also did lunch and dinner at The Wave, their Burger and chicken sandwich are excellent. And my daughter had the bacon and eggs app

Absolute best value for great food is sharing a pizza at Via Napoli. Very high quality pizza and while individual pizzas are not a great value, a couple can share a large and a family can share a mezzo metro for a great per person price.

HS has a lot of good choices but docking bay 7 is fun and interesting food at very reasonable prices.

AK we like Saluti Canteen for QS, or Yak and Yeti for TS (ahi tuna nachos are a must try)

In MK, the value proposition at most places is not so good. We do like Tony’s. Not fancy but everyone has a decent meal and the price is ok.

Earl of Sandwich at DS.
Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk for breakfast (it's the only meal I've eaten there, so I can't speak to any other meals).
Satuli and Flametree at AK.
Backlot Express and Andy's Toy Box at HS are my two favorite QS there. I like the different options that Andy's has. It's not just burgers and chicken.
Fruit and Nutella waffle at Sleepy Hallow at MK (before 11am!).

For the amount of food you get at Homecomin, you can totally split an entree. Problem is, my family always goes way too hungry and we never save.

Polite Pig gives you a hefty portion for the price. I'd go with the entree, which comes with 2 sides. You can easily share the sides.

Satuli Canteen is a good value.

I like both Landscape of Flavors in AoA and the Coronado quick service. Good selection, solid prices, good portions.

I can not say it loud enough, but in Disney Springs- The Polite Pig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
