Best value resort

One of my main concerns, would be the buses. My friend just stayed at All Stars Music, they said there was no cover at the bus stop. So, you would be standing in the sun while you wait. They drove to all the parks.
How are the bus stops at the other value resorts. Covered ? And, do the other resorts have more than one bus stop at each resort ?
Please give me some info. on the bus situation at the value resorts.

What is the difference between preferred and standard?

From what I could tell, it's location. Preferred is closer to Classic Hall and the main Hippy Dippy Pool.

All Star Music. It has been refurbed last year. We stayed in the suites and they were the best. Very clean quiet and we went during Pop Warner week. They don't use that hotel much if any. It really is a great place to stay. if there are 5-6 in your party you can't beat the space..But you could split your stay and see which you like better for next time.

Oh while there are no covers we rarely waited more than 10 minutes and the buses are not as crowded as some have said. At least not in early Dec. Also they way Pop is talked about I bet it won't be but a matter of time that you will have to wait on everything there, even the crowded buses.

We've stayed at POP 4 or 5 times and never chose a preferred location. It is a small additional cost, but truly not necessary - no POP rooms are more than a 5 mins walk to the bus, food court or lobby - certainly a bit slower with young ones.

We've stayed at many deluxes (CR, Poly, GF, BWV, BC and AKL) where it's been a longer walk to the lobby than our furthest room at POP.

Truly, it's not bad at all! We love a deluxe stay, but for for an inexpensive visit, cannot go wrong with POP.

Please do let your aunt know, that if her room in not clean enough or they would prefer a different location, not to hesitate to stop by the front desk to speak with someone. Most times they will do everything possible to help...and if it's a housekeeping issue, it should be resolved. immediately.

There are no covers at any value bus stops. All buses stop in the front of the resort, single stop. The three All Stars share buses, but they run frequently and if a bus is full from one resort, many time the drivers notify dispatch and a bus will be sent to the next resort empty. Magic on Demand.

I stayed in the Mighty Ducks building at Movies, it was right next to the check in building of Music, so we just walked over there to get the bus. I stayed at one of the Love Bug buildings, it wasn't too bad to walk to the front. At Music I stayed in Broadway last year, it is the furthest away I think, but only a 10 minute of less walk. I don't remember the other Music building I have stayed in, but it was closer than Broadway. At Pop I have stayed in the 70s twice, once with a view of the Foosball game and once with a lake view. Both were very quiet. I have been at Pop when it was sold out, the buses were only crowded 1st thing in the mornings, and mostly for MK and of course coming back after park close. But that is true of all resorts.

I will be at Pop again for free dining and am hoping to get the 70s again, but no matter where it is, it's Disney. Since I travel wither solo or with another adult, I don't need the closer prefer rooms. For people with toddlers and kids, that is a great benefit.

The only Values I can speak of is ASSports and ASMo. If I had to pick one out of these two, it would definitely be movies. The food is way better in taste and there is a greater variety of it at ASMo in my opinion. The theming appeals to my kids more.
