best value 'off site' resturant???

Cross Roads has a Fuddruckers, Sweet Tomatoes, Perkins, Chevy's, Buffalo Wild Wings, TGI Fridays, Flippers Pizza, Red Lobster. Sweet Tomaotes is usually really good.

Although its not cheap (which is what I am sure you meant by "best value") I highly recommend Johnnies Hideaway also in the Crossroads. Fancy place but very laid back. We stopped in last year for dinner fairly early (5:30-ish) after a day in the parks and were in our shorts and Disney T-shirts. We were seated by well dressed hostesses and got an equally well dressed waiter. I felt embarrassed and mentioned it to the waiter that I felt out of place in such a fancy restaurant. His response, "sir this is Florida. Tourists in Florida dress just like. You are dressed just fine. Enjoy your dinner. AND what a dinner. Great aged steaks and everything cooked to perfection. Nice selection of wines. Fantastic service too. I put it on a par with the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Sweet Tomatoes is now at the Crossroads. It's a HUGE salad bar with hot soup/potatoes/pasta/etc. Join their "Club Veg" and they will send you coupons. Usually 2-4-1 dinners :).

The HESS gas station next to the Magic Kingdom parking lot has $6 - 1 topping pizza's on Tue & Thur - regular price is only $7 for cheese - $8 for 1 topping. You can drive from the Campground and back in less than 10 minutes round trip. They can cook one fresh for you too if you want to wait.

Can you tell me how you get to this Hess station from the campground and back?
