Any suggestions? Thought about Pop or Caribbean Beach but not sure if my child will like the skyliner (fear of heights) and I heard busses do not run when the skyliner is running. Any other suggestion on where to stay? Thanks!!

We love either Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter for moderate hope they open soon. Have never stayed at value.

My favorite moderate is CS. I love the Spanish/Mexican theme and it is more along the the lines of a lower deluxe because it is a convention center. For value, I just go with whichever one is less at the time I'm booking. In all fairness, I only stay in a value for a night or two at the beginning of a split stay.

I've stayed at CBR and don't care for the transportation at all. The Skyliner is great when it's running (I don't love heights but it's the only option to Epcot and DHS when running) and it's quick BUT, it does go down and when it does the buses are so so slow to pick up the slack. Also, the regular bus routes to AK and MK aren't fantastic either since there are so many internal bus stops. Trinidad was closed when we were there and I think we still made 5 stops since the bus will also stop at the Skyliner. In normal/non Covid times, it's still not a great resort when it comes to transportation, I think it would be a total of 6 stops. Pop is similar but because they have much larger buses running to/from the parks and only one bus stop, I think it runs a little better all else being equal with the Skyliner.

We also really like POFQ/POR so if they're open they are great options but they both also have a good amount of internal bus stops, think it's 4. We've also enjoyed Coronado Springs. If I'm picking among all these resorts right now that are open, I'd choose either POP or CSR. Both of these resorts have nicer, freshly refurbished rooms too. Whereas POR/POFQ and CBR have had updates but IMO they are much more minor in scope and don't really look much nicer than what they did 15 years ago. The nicest part of CBR is the lobby as that's been remodeled.
