Best Value for a Town Car

hi everyone,
im going to WDW on 12/26-01-01... so i wanna get to the resort from the airport ASAP. I've already talked to a lot of people about Mears and they said that it would take forever to get to our hotel. so they told me to cancel the Mears and get a town car. what service would be best? and do they have a website?

Hi. Last year we used Happy Limo, and they have a web site happylimo.com. We had a great experience. We got to ride in a limo on the way back to the airport instead of the towncar. The kids were so excited. Anyway, we are using them again this year and I hope to have another good experience. Go to mousesavers.com, I think they have a $5 off coupon, the site might even have one. It is $99 roundtrip for the 4 of us, and that includes tip.

Have you heard anything about FL Tours? all of the prices are about the same. I just want a nice towncar for a prompt service to and from the airport.

Hi again. I know nothing of Fl Tours, but the town car was nice at Happy Limo. We were just lucky to get upgraded on the way back because of the driver's schedule. We will be getting a towncar next time too. I wrote back just in case no one else responds to your message. Keep reading the posts here, there are a lot of people who have written about other companies they liked. I think Tiffany Towncar was listed here not too long ago. Good luck.

cartiertowncar.com seems to be the cheapest...AKL round trip is $75.00...I believe the All-stars are right there so it should be the same. We used Your ride the last few times w/ no problems, there price is $80.00 for the same trip. Be careful though b/c some (not those mentioned above) will charge you for things such as flight delays, gate fees, booster/car seat, or include the gratituity. I personally wouldn't go for a company that "adds on"or has hidden pricing...as some do. The price on the website should be the price...(with out the little *** stating MK resorts are $9.00 more). Shop around some will match prices as well.

I just checked Cartier Town Car and they do seem to be the cheapest. When I do go on the trip, regardeless of who it may be with, how much do i tip the driver. And is it kosher to include the tip on a personal check?

Tipping is usually 10-15% of the fare...it seems many also do $10.00 each way. Most of the limo website though stated a tip of 10-15% is appreicated, more if you receive exception service. I wouldn't think they would accept personal check as payment for the limo service but I could be wrong... check the website.....

AND as the wife of someone who owns a catering business & is in the service industry... DO NOT TIP on the personal check, never include it with payment for any service EVER in any industry! The owner of the company may be obligated to report it to the IRS/tax it or worse many of my husband's staff (and it happened to my DH when he worked for someone else) never see the tip when it is added to the check (when they worked for someone else my DH doesn't do that!)...and there is never a direct turn around on the money even if the business is reputable....it sometimes can take up to 2 weeks for the person to receive that tip and a lot can happen in that time...("opps, tip, are you sure they tipped you? Do you have any proof?") My advice to anyone who tips for any reason is if you want someone to receive a tip hand it to them in cash personally....it is the only way you are assured they actually receive it! Don't mean to yell or offend...I just speak from personal experience and not all business owners are honest! Better safe than sorry.

Happy Limo, $85 - $5 Mousesavers discount code makes it $80
Tiffany, $85 - $5 online coupon makes it $80

I just booked a reservation with Cartier. I gotta quote for 75 bucks. not too shabby. im staying at POR, not the allStars..btw. thnx everyone for their inputs!
