Best uses for FP for our family?

I'm starting to plan for our fast passes, as my 60 day window is coming up in two weeks.

The whole process in a bit confusing - can anyone share the link to the Fastpass tips thread? For the life of me, I can't find it :confused3

We went two years ago, before FP+, and experienced pretty low wait times overall. Now reading about the process for +, it seems as if wait times are artificially inflated for lots of rides (spaceship earth springs to mind!). I'm keeping an open mind, but the hassle of pre-picking rides with small kids seems counter intuitive.

Anyhoo, long story short....looking for suggestions on best FP+ picks for our family. Five of us (2a, 3c: 7,5,22 months), non rope droppers, not out too late, possibly mid aft naps. DH does not like anything more wild than Ariel's clamshell ride :teeth:.

We are celebrating our 5 yo DD birthday, so hoping for Anna & Elsa m&g on our MK day (first day unfortunately). But other than that, what are our best bets for each park?

I'm new to fastpass plus too, (first trip was still paper fast passes), but here is my two cents game plan. Most of ours would be "lame" for other people, but its based on what our kids would like most. We have 2.5 and 5 year old girls:
MK day 1: Anna and Elsa (not likely) or Rapunzel m&g
Enchanted Tales Belle
Peter Pan
backup choice:
7 Dwarfs (me and 5 yo)
MK day 2: Pirates, Buzz spin, Tomorrowland speedway
Epcot: Crush or Nemo, Character Spot, Soarin' (me and 5 yo)
AK: Safaris, Lion king show, characters at the Outpost
DHS: Frozen singalong, TSSM, Beauty and Beast Live

The great thing about Fast Pass is now with the My Experience App it can be super flexible! Twice now the app has just worked wonders. On both trips my troop and I have gotten to our rides super early and not needed the fast passes! So we just log into the app and switch to other rides later! In fact we've ended changing them probably 3 times each because we would decide to do something else or be on the other side of the park! Now of course it may be less hectic in winter season, but the last time was during the Princess Half Marathon and it was still great! So get there early and save a fast pass, then if something else arises and the kids want to do something different, you can make changes in less than two minutes!

The first two posts on Mesaboy's thread are very helpful. My advice is to keep trying to get the FPs you want. The app is easy to use. When you first schedule, you may not get everything you want, but don't be afraid to log in every day a few times a day to try for A&E or another popular FP or to get another time that may fit better.

Our first time using FP+ last year was when DS was 22 months, and it was a super pain. But this year he was older, and it worked better. Since younger children seem to follow older children, your group should do okay with a few scheduled rides. Also, you didn't mention if you have all boys, all girls, or a mix, but you don't have to schedule the same FPs for your entire party. It may be easier to pick up an A&E, for example, for two in your party rather than the whole party.
