A Feb or March UY would work well.

February or March would be the best UY. You would still be able to bank 100% of your points or have almost a year to use them for another vacation.

Actually if your trips are consistently in April, April UY would be the best. If you might travel in March, then March UY would be the best. Anything starting about Dec should work fine for this situation.

I agree. We have a Feb UY and we planned to use our points for trips in April.

This year we had to make a change from April to February. It worked out well as we get out points in Feb. We also thought about going in the summer too.

A good rule is to get a YU that is no more than 2 months before your expected travel month. If you have to cancel, you have most of the year to use your points.

I think that if you vacation ony in April, then as other said a Feb or March UY could be fine.

But I suggest you to think in more dates you could vacation, not only now, but in a future..... remember you will have this DVC and the same UY for almost 50 years

For example I vacation the most between september/october, as kids are small I can take them out school, but maybe in a future, it wouldn´t be so easy. So I would only have the option to vacation during summer school vacations and of course I would like to make an esporadic december travel. By choosing June as UY, I covered all three dates before the 8 months to bank points.... well I guess that will work for us....
