Best use of time, AM HS

We are going to HS on the 3rd and planning on going early enough for a BG. We have FastPass for MK in the late afternoon. What should we do in HS while waiting for our BG to be called? We have a 11,8 and 2 year old and they really don’t want to stand in the long ride lines. Is there something we can see/do between 7-9:30am when the shows start?

Not sure what time Citizens of Hollywood will start that day,but they are one of my favorite parts of DHS and NO LONG LINES TO SEE THEM.

When I rope dropped DHS last week, I was able to go right to Slinky Dog Dash as soon as it opened. I was on it in under 5 minutes. All of the rides will have short lines at that time. After SDD, I hopped right onto Rock & Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, both without much of a line at all.
