Best underrated restaurant..

Pinnochio's in Fantasyland was yummy. There's a little balcony and a deck upstairs that overlooks fantasyland. We had a yummy Turkey and Bacon Pannini and the Figaro fries. My DH and I got an order of each to share - took one bite and said I think we need another sandwich and fries. They were soooo good that we didn't want to share. LOL. Our boys loved the chocolate milkshakes. :drinking1

We love the sushi and terriyaki chicken at the Yakitori House in Japan.

Yakatori - our FAVORITE CS....always have our first meal there and last.
Kona is also our little secret, we love their breakfasts...since joining DVC,
we don't stay at Poly (boo-hoo!), but always have breakfast there.

We loved Liberty Tree Tavern for LUNCH ... and I emphasized lunch because that is when you get to choose from a delightful menu of delicious food. All of it, from the appetizers to dessert, is just scrumptious, and the atmoshphere inside LTT is warm and subdued. A cool, quiet retreat in the summer, and a warm and cozy one in the winter.

This is the best buffet that Walt Disney World offers and the cheapest.
It's next to the Hoop De Doo Musical Revue.
Take the boat to Fort Wilderness and follow the signs.

Fort Wilderness Buffet for breakfast - best value on the property. Haven't had dinner there in a while.

Also, you don't hear much about Olivia's at Old Key West - but I think this is one hidden gem.

Also Evergreens sports bar for casual food - burgers, sandwiches, picky foods, etc - and you can't beat the price.

I would also have to vote for Maya grill. Beautiful restaurant and wonderful food.

Marrakesh in Epcot - I used to think people avoided this because it was strange, but Boma fills every night and the much better Marrakesh is easy to get into.

Boatwrights at POR. Delicious, really tasty, flavorful food. We wouldn't have thought to try it, except that we were staying at POR and it was easy.

Spoodles for breakfast. Kona cafe for dinner. Concourse steakhouse for a nice relaxing lunch while doing a MK day.

puddleduck -- Everything at Kona is good. But I don't know of anyone who has eaten the Beef Teriyaki and didn't find it memorable. :thumbsup2

We had a really great dinner at yacht club galley last year. There were 7 of us and we went before out illuminations cruise.

The food and service were great! The only "bad" part was we ordered the "paint your own" cupcake just for fun, and the cupcake was not good. Sort of a supermarket variety one. But we didn't really want to eat it anyway :)

Marakesh in Epcot...the food is wonderful! The couscous is excellent and they have this appetizer called beef brewat rolls that's killer!

Kathleen :flower1:

Our favorites are also Boatwrights for breakfast (love that french toast!!!) and Olivia's for a late lunch. After reading the above posts, I think we'll also try GF Cafe and Kona on our next visit in October.

If you are at DTD shopping or just enjoying the sites then go to Earl of Sandwich. It is an excellent and inexpensive meal - $4.95 for a sandwich or salad (both are wonderful). :thumbsup2

Enjoy! pixiedust:

I agree with Earl of Sandwich, Capn Jack's, and the Food Court at Pop Century. ESPN on the Boardwalk is also a fun place, especially if there is an interesting game on.

Garden Grill in Epcot. The food is fantastic and we think it's the best character meal in WDW.

I have to agree on the Trails End buffet. The chicken is really good and so are the ribs (dinner only). Plus, it's inexpensive for what you get.

I'm going to vote for Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD. The best counter service of our trip.
