Best TS Restaurants at MK and DS?

Looking to book a lunch/dinner at MK and a dinner at DS for our February trip. Looking for something the kids will enjoy but character dining not a requirement. Would also like to avoid the buffets and have a true sit down TS meal. Thoughts?

Are you on a dining plan? If so some of these recommendations may change however, assuming you are paying OOP I would say Lunch at the Plaza in MK. There are a lot of great choices at DS however, I am partial to the Boathouse. High priced but good food.

I second the Plaza- the strawberry chicken salad is great and it's got a kid friendly menu too. Skipper Canteen might be a fun experience too. I've never eaten there but from what I've heard experience is good but the food isn't as kid friendly as other places, so you might want to check out the menu if your kids aren't particularly adventurous eaters.

For DS I've always liked Portobello's if you're into Italian food, but I have heard good things about the Boathouse as well. I like Raglan Road too.

Lunch at MK- Liberty Tree Tavern is our first choice, followed by the Plaza.
Dinner at DS- 50's Prime Time, or better yet, head to one of the nearby EPCOT resorts and dine there.

At the MK none are what you call very good.

At DS we like the Boathouse.

In MK, I enjoy Crystal Palace (but it is a buffet with characters). LTT is okay. I've only had QS at BOG.

In DSp, I love Bongos and WGP.

TS at MK is really not great. Why not hop on the monorail and go to 'Ohana at the Poly (it's a buffet, but a really delicious one, with fun music and games for the kids). Or, take the boat over to WL to Whispering Canyon, which is pretty rowdy, but lots of fun and good food. Those are a couple of our favorites!

Regular DDP...so we have 4 TS meals to use. Already planning an easy evening at our resort (POR)...and character dining / Fantasmic package at HS. Was just looking for a couple spots to round things out.

We had lunch at Skipper Canteen and it was one of our favorite meals. The food was very good, and the kids loved it.
