Need help deciding which TS restauant to eat at in Epcot. Coral Reef or San Angel. What are your opinions? Thanks again

We've never done San Angel, but from what I can remember about our experience at Coral Reef a few years ago, the atmosphere was great but the food was nothing special. We haven't been back & don't plan on doing so.

The new Italy was our Favorite Epcot TS in Nov 08, we all enjoyed it and the appetizers were to die for! We got in for lunch just as they opened and the service, cleanliness and food was WONDERFUL!

We enjoyed Coral Reef in January 2009. Have not done San Angel - when are your going - because it could be you won't have a choice of San Angel (they are closing San Angel for a refurb starting sometime in May. I've read of people getting early May ressies for San Angel, but we tried for late May & were told it was not available then due to closing. Have not seen when they are reopening, though.)

We will be there Aug. 18-25. Have heard mixed reviews about Coral Reef. We ate there in 1998 but dont remember much about it. I am kind of trying to eat healthier so am not sure about San Angel the atmosphere looks awesome though.

We ate at Tutto the past 2 years and thought it was terrible. The pasta was soggy, the sauce runny and the service was horrible!!! We love italian food and will not eat there again. I love La Chef de France and La Cellier in EPCOT.

We've never been to Coral Reef, but have been to San Angel. I used to love San Angel but was disappointed by the food the last time we were there. With all the different places to eat at Epcot, I don't think we'll try San Angel again any time soon.

HTH!

My kids loved Teppan Eddo and Rose and Crown, we love rose and crown the fish and chips were great and great view for illuminations, they have a private viewing area.

We were there last year and ate in France and Germany. It was our first time in France and it was awesome! We eat at Germany everytime we go. Yummy! I heard since they changed Italy, the food quality went down. I have heard mixed reviews about the Coral Reef, so I am staying clear of it. When we head back in Nov, we are going to Tokyo Dining in Japan. The 9 Dragons in China was outstanding.

Good Luck!

Have not tried Coral Reef. It is one I will try next time. We were not impressed with the food or service at San Angel. We love Le Cellier in Canada. Great steaks!

Sounds like San Angel is out.(lol) I think I may check into Rose and Crown, my mom really enjoys fish.

What time should I make reservations for at Rose and Crown to watch Illuminations? Do I specify that when making ADR

If you are able to eat on patio then you can see fireworks from your seat, if not you can eat then they will let you go outside the the viewing area. We Dined on patio 7:30 reservations and just stayed there for show,We also ate inside 6:40 reservations (didn't get seated until 7:10) after dinner went out for fireworks. The fish and chips they give you two big pieces of fish and I could only eat one because I had the cheese app. and a few pints of cider. We also ate at the pub side with the piano lady playing which was great fun, and the pub serves fish and chips smaller order 1/2 the price.
