whats your opinion on Table service meals at Epcot? We have eaten at Le Cellier, Akershus, Biergarten, Garden Grill, San Angel and Via Napoli. We have Coral Reef booked but now I'm second guessing it. What's the best TS restaurant at Epcot? Should we try something new or go back to somewhere we've been before. We're using the dining plan and only want to use one TS credit

I wouldn't say that it is the best and it often gets mixed reviews, but we had a good meal at Coral Reef. We are going back on our next visit.

Restaurant Marrakesh and Teppan Edo are a lot of fun if you want to try something new. I haven't eaten at Via Napoli, but definitely want to try it on my next visit. I'd say my favorite restaurant is Biergarten.

Teppan Edo is good and so is Coral Reef. I have been disappointed in Marrakesh, the meat was tough and very difficult to cut. If I am using the dining plan and use 2 credits at a signature restaurant, I make up for it by eating at Nine Dragons and paying out of pocket, good food and lower price that most.

Coral Reef is my favorite restaurant on Disney property.. It is not because of the food, but they do have great Mahi Mahi.. I just love sitting there watching the fish, turtles, and sharks swim by while we eat..

We really like Chefs de France. The French Onion soup is delicious and we like the prix fixe meal (one dining credit for appetizer, entree and dessert). We like to ask for a window seat and watch the street performers (we miss Remy visiting tables though :worried:).
Coral Reef is really neat (the aquarium is enjoyable). I don't remember the food (I don't like seafood but dd's do :-)) My dd's are the same ages as yours and they enjoyed Coral Reef (atmosphere and seafood) as well as Chefs de France (food). I see you've been to San Angel Inn - that's one that we are looking forward to try for the first time on our next trip.
Have a good trip.

Haven't had Coral Reef. Chefs de France and Teppan Edo are both very good. I'd go with Chefs de France for adults/older kids, Teppan Edo if you have younger kids.

We have tried most TS in Epcot and only love Via Napoli. This year we are trying Teppan Edo for the first time and am looking forward to it.

Hands down via Napoli. It's our only Epcot food must do each trip

Don't do Chefs de France for dinner. It gets really crowded, service is slow, and staff feel rushed and not as friendly. Biergarten is my favorite, but if you want to try something new, go to Tutto Italia, my second favorite. Its very relaxing, staff are very friendly and sometimes even like to talk about Italian food and culture with you. Also your in italian surroundings with pictures and great italian paintings. A little upscale as well.

La Hacienda and Rose and Crown are two of our favorites.

i dont understand bad reviews for coral reef but i know everyone has different opinions. we have eaten there over 10 times and just love it. only reason we arent eating there this time is becuse i put my foot down because everyone i travel with wants to go back to their favorites and not try anything new, which the only way to find a new favorite is to try something new haha i would STRONGLY suggest you go there and experience for yourself coral reef, and heres how i see it, if you dont like it tell them and they can make you something else and then you dont have to go back but you wont know for YOU if you dont like it unless YOU go. I LOVE FIGMENT and i was told it was horrible but i did it and love it, to each their own. do it so you can make your own opinion

We booked a lot of the nicer table service restaurants for our honeymoon and outside of V&A (which was in a class of its own) our favorite was Coral Reef. We were on the upper level which at first was a disappointment but then I think I liked it even better than being right up against the glass. You could see a ton from there too. My husband's catfish was in his top 10 things he has ever eating and the desserts were outstanding. We had a really great waiter which I think may have added to the magic.
It also felt less hectic than some of our other meals. Maybe it was the sea life and the aquatic lighting, or that it is kind of tucked away from the hub-bub of park goers, but it was a very relaxing calming meal.

I wouldn't pass on it if you've already tried those other places that you listed.

Le Cellier and Biergarten are our favorites for sure. The atmosphere at Coral Reef is nice, but they food isn't bringing me back.

I like Le Cellier, but it's not worth the two DDP credits, IMO. LOVE the beer and show and Biergarten, but for the complete package, my favorite has to be Coral Reef.

Get an early ADR, arrive even earlier, and request tankside seating.

Done Coral Reef about 5 times and the service has always been excellent, the ambiance fantastic, and the food has definitely been good. Good use of a TC without a doubt. :)

In Epcot I've tried Coral Reef (twice), Biergarten, Marrakesh and Chefs de France. My favorite so far has been Chefs de France.

This was not my experience at Chefs at all. It was crowded when we were there for dinner, but I didn't feel rushed at all and our server was fantastic. So friendly and really made the experience feel personal. Plus the food was amazing on top of that :)
