We ate at Beach's and Cream and thought the food was excellent. I would of never gone there without the recommendation's from this board (so thank you everyone). We did mostly counter service while in the parks. We did eat at the San Angel Inn in Mexico. I loved the atmosphere. I was so beautiful. The food was really good and the service was excellent. We had many snacks and I highly recommend the snickers fudge.
We loved the tod parade (first time we have seen it), I am very sad it will not be there for our next trip at the end of March. Also, we sat on Main Street for the MK parade. In the past we have sat by the Liberty Tavern. I will never again sit anywhere but on Main Street. My son got pulled out to participate in the parade. I got great photos and the view was excellent. Also, I loved the MGM parade, we sat on Hollywood BLVD and had a great view.
Illuminations made me cry. DS (10) got all cuddely during it, and made it more special. This was the first time we have seen Fantasmic. We sat in the very front (on those shorter benches). It was wonderful!!!! We did get alittle wet though. Thankfully I still had unused poncho's, so we put them on and really enjoyed the show. I have never seen anything like that show, and really regret missing it in the past.
We all started pin collections (I hear my wallet sigh as I type that statement). We bought many souviners (even though I said we wouldn't) and we created many new wonderful memories.
We will be staying on site for our next trip. We will also be flying (a first for all of us). We got caught in that terrible ice/snow storm in W. Virginia/PA today and had an awful time getting home. We are from Buffalo, and we have never drove in anything that bad.
