best trip ever

We were at Disney for Thanksgiving week. Stayed at All Star Sports. Best trip yet even with the crowds. I will try to post a trip report later. Any questions, just ask.

How did you find the crowds to be?

The crowds were terrible, however, we were the first in line at the gate every morning. I got the boys up at 6 am and we were on the bus no later than 7:45 and at the parks by 8am. It sounds rough, but it was worth it. I subscribed to Tour Guide Mike and he advised us what park to visit on what day. The boys went to their favorite ride and my DH and I would go and get fast passes for the next ride. Before lunch, they had rode everything they wanted. The later in the day, the worse the crowds became. The key is to have teenagers. This was our first trip with kids that can take care of themselves.

I was considering Spring or Thanksgiving Break, but I think now, I will not. I may be leaning towards the week before Christmas.

This was our third Thanksgiving at Disney and it seems the crowds get bigger every time. If I didn't still have a child in school, we would not go during the holidays. You just have to set your mind up for the crowds and be prepared.
