Best trimmer?

I have the CM cutting mat, red, green and blue blades, and the cutting template that can make straight cuts, long waves, or short waves (I think it was called a decorative trimmer but it is the old kind that fits on the mat not the new kind that fits on a blue base) and that is what I have been using for all of my strait cuts but I was thinking about getting something like the new CM 12" straight trimmer, or possibly Fiskars, or Coluzzle? What kind is the best/cheapest?

I have the Fiskars and Ive had it for about 4 years and I'm looking into a new one as I'm having a tough time with straight now days (didnt used to be this bad) and I think Ive just worn out the cutter- The blade pops out almost everytime and there are no numbers on it- Ive heard good things about the Couzell and also the Provo Craft bright green/pink one

I really like my CM 12" straight trimmer. That 12" pattern that fit over the mat always wiggled and moved on me and my strips most of the time came out smaller on one end.

Its really nice and I like the decorative trimmer too.

I have a big Fiskars 12" rotary cutter that I use to cut large paper. I'd bought it for another project & really like it - but it was a lot more expensive than the "straight" cutters. It was a pain, though, for cutting small things so I recently got the CM personal trimmer. I'm not crazy about having to switch between them, but I bought it right before the CM 12" one came out.

I used a Fiskars 12" straight trimmer at a class & really, really disliked it! There didn't seem to be a way to keep the paper firmly in place to assure a straight cut & the guidelines were...odd. Sorry - I don't know how else to describe them. I just remember that I had to keep subtracting or something. It could just have been the that the person teaching the class kept hurrying everyone though.

I have used a 12" fiskers forever...and really liked it. However I did just get the new CM 12" straight cutter...and although I wasn't to impressed at first..I love it now....and will grab it before I even look for my fiskers (and I did recently purchase the new style fiskers also). The cut is very smooth and easy...and it has tons of line markers to get the perfect sized cut....great when doing mats....and the blade i've noticed it is much larger than the fiskers blades which leads me to think it will out last the fiskers blades. There are items with each cutter that I like and dislike but over all I like the CM cutter way better...

I have a 12 inch fiskar which is nice. But I love my Cutterped. I think I am about the only one that loves it. It is a rotary style and many people complained they can't cut a straight line with it. I haven't had that problem at all.

I have the Fiskars -- can't get a straight cut, no matter what. I also have a large Carl cutter - not thrilled with that one, either. The one that works the best for me is the one Em mentioned above by Provo Craft. It's the Zision (9.98 at www.creativexpress.com) and I like it except for one thing -- the arm. It lifts straight up and latches down, rather than swinging up on the side like the Fiskars. I'm having a hard time getting used to that, but I figure it's a small price to pay for straight cuts.
