The Unofficial Guide to WDW 2016 has just been released and is available through Amazon. I get mine on Friday! Very comprehensive covering Universal aswell. Includes resorts and restaurants as well as all attractions. I also like Passporter guide to WDW which comes out just before Christmas. The Brits guide to Orlando is also a good start.:thumbsup2

Forget about travel guide books ....... just ASK on this forum and you will get proper results.

Over the years I have had the Brits Guide, Birnbaum Official Guide and The Unofficial Guide.

The Brits guide is the only one that covers Orlando - its a nice easy read too. I think the new version will be out soon.

The Unofficial Guide is very heavy going but I like the associated website touring plans.com

Birnbaum is a nice book - has some useful tips in for first timers and is an easy ready.

All three have merits but being books usually are out of date as soon as they are printed but are good for first timers or those that haven't been for a while. They are all written by people that really know Disney.

My suggestion are not guide books but I really love them. They are a series of small books that I like to take into the park with me that were written by Disney Imagineers.

If you're standing in a queue or have a bit of downtime on a bench they're fun to scan through and spot some interesting things that you're near.

Here is the amazon link for the Epcot one. They do one book per park.

I haven't been to Orlando since 2007. I have kept up to date via the dos podcast. I love looking online. But also like the books. Was thinking of downloading one so would hopefully not have to worry about the size. Our trip isn't till the end is September 2016! We gave booked it already. We are staying near downtown. Not on Disney property. Want to have a kist of restaurants cause on hour last trip we hadn't done our homework and we didn't have a great meal our entire trip. Want to get that right this time. We only went for 7 days the last time. This time we are going for 14 nights!!

Gaaaah! I'm so jealous I'd love to own that book but I can't justify the cost for myself so its on my amazon wish list that I sent out just before my birthday but so far no one has chosen to gift it to me haha :rotfl:

Is it good? I bet its good :goodvibes
