Best transportation to Universal from Disney???

Hi all,

Asking this for a friend....

What is the best option for transportation from a Disney resort (All Star Sports) to Universal??? They are not renting a car, so I'm guessing it would be cab? Any other options? Approx. pricing info? Any information would be GREAT!

Mears can be cheaper depending on how many of them there are.

It was actually cheaper for us to take a cab from Disney to RPR. It was about $20 dollars for the 4 of us and Mears wanted to charge over $40-this was at the end of June so not too long ago.

We were going from CBR to RPR.

Just go to the conceirge desk at the wdw resort lobby you are staying at and they will get you a cab (quickly). The cost is about $20-$25 depending on which resort you are staying at.

if you take a cab, don't travel during rush hour.

that meter is running while you are sitting in that cab besides the mileage rate you have to pay

Last December we took a cab from AKL to CSR due to us switching resorts during our stay. Cost us over $10 without tip. And these resorts are really close to each other! I want to know what cab company a poster mentioned above took to Universal's resort area where it only cost $20. Was that just one way or round trip?

We usually take Mears. It's $16 round trip per person from any of Disney's resorts to Universal.

It cost us $25 without tip to get from Downtown Disney to RPR about 4 years ago in a cab.

I just called Yellow cab co., they told me approximately $26 from Saratoga Springs to Universal. I will be doing this next week as well. # is 407-422-2222.

using the link, i get about $28 for it but i'm using the closest place to SSR
