We will have a car. I was thinking of driving to the Contemporary for SH71 dinner, but we also want to go into MK to see the fireworks. I don't think this is allowed though. What would you suggest?

What time is dinner and what time is the Fireworks. If they are close together you won't have a problem parking at the Contemporary. However if there is a long interval you might have a problem.

Of course, I would book an ADR close to the fireworks time. Just curious though, when you say I might have a problem, what would it be? Would our car be towed?

technically, parking is for your dining reservation only. I doubt they will do anything but you never know.

Plandisney states you have 3 hour maximum Parking for dining.

resort guests who drive pay $25 a day for parking. Keep that in mind when you park.

If you pay to valet park, you can leave your car there as long as you want.
I am a DVC member, so there is no charge to park. Good to know about the valet parking though.

I am a DVC member also. We only get free parking at DVC resorts unfortunately while staying on points/cash. I don't think you meant to quote me though.
Sorry, I think I'm misunderstanding. I quoted you when you mentioned it would be $25 to park. We just parked the other day at WL to eat at WCC and weren't charged to park. Am I unclear on something?

We did exactly what you want to do and had no problem driving. As I recall, our reservation was for 6 and we didn’t get a good place for fireworks at 8. Parking is free since you’re going there to dine.

Yes you are on unclear. for clarification: I was stating OVERNIGHT GUESTS pay to park and at that particular resort it is $25/night.

as a DVC member you and I both know we do not pay for OVERNIGHT PARKING while staying at a DVC resort on points/cash.

have a good day
