Best Transportation Option??

Hello everyone,

I have read many of the threads in this forum. Alot give me partial answers to my question so I figured I would see if I can consolidate it all in one thread.

My family and I are headed to Disney for 6 days in Aug. We are going to follow it up with a 4 day (non Disney) cruise from Port Canaveral.

I am using Magical Express to get me from MCO to my Disney resort but I need to get from my Disney Resort to Port Canaveral and back to MCO.

What option for 6 of us would be relatively painless and decently priced??

I thought about renting a car for the entire time I am on cruise but that seems senseless for it to sit there.

I thought about renting cars for 1 day to get from Disney to the port and then 1 day to get from the port to MCO

I thought about getting a limo or van.

I would rent a car. I usually keep the car and park it at the terminal. It's so much easier than dropping people off at the ship, then returning the car, shuttling back to the terminal and reversing it at the end.

A car service will charge you about $200, give or take. It's a nice way to go though.
Check out car rental prices doing it for one day rentals (at the start and at the end) and for the entire time with parking charges. Then compare with a car service.
