2 years ago we too the Disneyland Express. We got there just as they were pulling out. We had to wait an hour for the next bus. We prefer not to do that this year. Anyone know if the Super Shuttle is reliable or is there anything better but not too expensive? We have 4 people. No little ones. Thanks!

With a party of four people I'd just get a taxi or use uber. Total price will likely be less than Super Shuttle.

I would go with Uber or Lyft. We used Lyft on our trip in August from SNA to the Best Western Park Place Inn. It was around $20 after a tip. We also got a $5 discount for our first time using Lyft. Uber and Lyft both have 'first time rider' discounts.

Do you have to request a vehicle big enough for 4 people and luggage? I have never used either Uber or Lyft.

We used Uber in August from SNA to Grand Legacy Hotel and it was $18 + tip. Sign up with your Chase Visa card and get your first ride free. There was 4 of us we just did the plain UberX and we had plenty of room for all of us and our luggage. Once you request the Uber pick up it will show you the type of vehicle the driver has you can cancel if not big enough (such as a prius etc). Then re-request and you'll most likely get something else. I will only Uber from now on, no shuttle!!

Or a taxi. WIth 4 people, its going to be close to or cheaper than super shuttle. I am uber resistant. Maybe one of your 4 is used to it and comfortable with it and it will be no big deal. But a taxi is easy.

It might not be as cheap as uber, but we use Sunny's Transportation exclusively for the last 3 years. Always on time, always gets us there quickly and safely. A town car is $117 round trip paying cash, before tip. We fit 4 people in there and 4 pieces of luggage in the trunk.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad I asked!

Taxi from SNA is a flat rate $44 (could be less on the meter if no traffic). Shuttles are all in one area and $11 per person....supershuttle and others wait there and the dispatcher fills them and off they go.....With 4 people, taxi is the easiest.

Uber is my go to...you will want UberXL for a group of four which will run you about $30...if not comfortable with Uber due to inexperience (but it is really easy) Taxi would be my next go to and run ya about $45 plus tip. I HATE waiting for shuttles or being crammed in with others so Uber or Taxi is the only way for me.

Taxi is ok, but Uber and Lyft will be way cheaper. When I use Uber and Lyft I always get a nice new car with a pleasant driver. With a taxi it is a bit of a gamble. I often get some old smoky car. I have been long hauled too many times and now refuse to take taxis.

DD19 and I were there a couple of weeks ago and used Lyft. It was so easy. We landed at 9:00am (on a Thursday), were at the hotel by 9:30, and nearly made a 10:00am rope drop!

In many cities, UberX now has a place to say how many in your party when you order the car. That way only cars that can hold you can accept the ride. We did this repeatedly in Miami last weekend with a party of 4 and there were no issues. Usually a Camry or similar picked us it. Uber X will likely be 1/2 the cost of a taxi.

Loved using UberX in August. Hubby and I both signed up as new users and got a $22 credit each to use on a ride. As each ride came out under $15 we didn't have to pay anything (though we did tip each driver $5 cash)
