I am sure this has been asked a thousand times...My DBIL and his GF are flying in and the rest of us are driving down. We check in on Sunday so we are spending a night offsite on Saturday. If they don't fly in Saturday night then someone will have to leave WDW on Sunday to pick them up. To avoid this, DBIL said they would take a taxi from the airport but I know that I have read that there are cheaper/better ways....so what would be best--taxi, towncar or shuttle? They are sending the majority of their luggage with one of us so they won't have any baggage to claim when they arrive at MCO. Thanks for any help!!!

If I remember correctly, Mears shuttle is about $25 pp, r/t. The towncar services are around $90 r/t. The shuttles go to more than one resort. We were lucky the first time we went, and stupidly used shuttle, since we ended up in a van with only POR people in it. But, with the buses, you won't be so lucky. You could be stopping at 5 different resorts before yours!! I would spend the $90 and have a towncar and driver all to myself. It's quite decadent. We will travel from MCO to WDW no other way now!!!

Since they won't have any luggage they could just take the Mears shuttle, get off at the first resort and take Disney transportation to whatever theme parking you're going to that day.
